Welcome to Alongsider Church. We are glad you are here. We are regular imperfect people trying to do our best to be a family, a church that loves God and others. 

Alongsider is a community of house churches coming together to worship as one body, devoting ourselves to the teaching of scripture, fellowship, the Lord’s Supper, and prayer. We do this on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month here at Richards Elementary School.

On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, so that would be next Sunday, the Amberley House Church gathers in Blake and Bailey’s home for a conversational study of today’s sermon and deeper fellowship. We move slowly, staying on the same passage two weeks in a row, teaching the word with reverence and care. We have only one house church, but we pray for 15 in the Lord’s timing. 

We equip our church through relationships. Our 10:24 Groups of 2-4 men or women meet regularly, focusing on care and connection, depth of study, prayer, and sending one another out. 

God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of truth, so we work together, building up the body in love, sending one another out to share the gospel and fulfill the mission He has given us in Matthew 28:19: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. 

God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to Earth to walk alongside man so He could show us the way to eternal life with Him. In the same way, we walk alongside others, loving God, making disciples, and living for Christ.
